New Nitric Acid Plant No. 6 has been concluded with HU-CHEMS Co., Ltd. in Korea

thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (tkIS) & KOREA ILLIES ENGINEERING (KIECO) could successfully record another order from HU-CHEMS Co., Ltd. for a new Nitric Acid Plant. Additionally, KIECO received another order for a Mono Nitro Benzene Plant, both lines will be delivered by the end of 2022.

After two years of project investigation HU-CHEMS finally concluded to realize Plant No. 6 at the end of 2020 and released a formal inquiry for technical & commercial proposals to bidders accordingly.

Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solution (tkIS) and its Korean agent KIECO, who have already provided Plants No. 2 - 5, have been requested to make an offer for Plant No. 6 on similar base as the existing Nitric Acid 5 Plant along with other Nitric Acid Solution providers. Technical comparison and minimizing overall costs of proprietary equipment was the goal of HU-CHEMS, not a small challenge for all possible suppliers. Once again thyssenkrupp Industrial Solution (tkIS) and KIECO stood out with excellent quality and reliable service and thus were able to win over the customer and the order. tkIS and KIECO worked out the best package and are now looking forward to continuing the long-term trusting relationship with HU-CHEMS.
