ILLIES JAPAN (K.K. IRISU, C. ILLIES & Co.) is participating again at the Automotive World 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight!

ILLIES JAPAN (K.K. IRISU) is again showing the latest trends in automobile design during the Automotive World, which will be held from January 21 to 23, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight. 

While our supplier base has remained stable and constant, we are adding roll forming technology as well as induction heating systems to our portfolio to further enhance production technology and efficiency in automobile design. The focus on light weight production, efficient production methods, safety and CO2 reduction remain the most important topics.

Since the last show in January 2025 we have delivered to our customers in Japan as well as their factories in North America and India various Tailor Welded Blanks welding lines, secured orders with a new customer for press hardening furnaces in Japan, received multiple Feasibility Studies for Double Door Ring trimming concepts and secured orders for inline magnetism measurement for the production of electric steel, which will be installed in Japan. In parallel we secured several purchase orders for x-ray turbine blade inspection systems as well as several Feasibility Studies to define inspection technologies (both admittedly not in the automotive field, however, is executed by the same team), including Automated Defect Recognition, use of AI in inspection systems, design the machine layout for inspection machines, just to mention the most important projects.

We look forward to discuss with our valued customers in detail the latest trends in laser blanking, tailor welded blanks, door rings & double door rings, press hardening, press solutions, robotic laser cutting & trimming, x-ray CT for gigacast parts, battery inspection and turbine blades, rotary swaging and axial forming, magnetic measurement, measurement and calibration equipment for industrial robots as well as the dress packs needed for robots.
